The Mount Vernon Country Club is situated in Mount Vernon, Ohio amongst the rolling hills of Knox County. This world class private club is a full service facility with approximately 200 members. The club opened in 1915 and boasts 18 holes of championship golf designed by Tom Bendelow and Barry Serafin. The club hosts approximately 8,000 rounds annually. It is one of the premier clubs in central Ohio and is affiliated with the Northern Ohio PGA Section. The clubhouse went through a significant remodeling in 2006, and the club as a whole continues to invest in improvements which will truly define the club as a premier destination.
The Mount Vernon Country Club offers a complete recreation facility for the entire family, including golf, tennis, weight training, swimming, fine dining and more. SOCIAL: Applicant shall be over twenty-one (21) years of age and shall be entitled to the privileges of the clubhouse, dining, tennis, and swimming facilities. Requires initiation fee of $2500.00, monthly dues of $131.25, and minimum food purchase of $300.00 each six months.
SOCIAL PLUS: Social Plus members shall be over twenty-one (21) years of age and shall be entitled to dining,tennis, swimming facilities, athletics & wellness center, and limited golf privileges at the Club. Social Plus members shall be entitled to golf once per calendar month. Requires initiation fee of $2500.00, monthly dues of $183.75 and minimum food purchase of $300.00 each six months.
NON-RESIDENT : A person residing outside of Knox county and over twenty-five (25) miles from Mount Vernon may become a non-resident member and shall be entitled to all privelages of the club. Requires initiation fee of $7500.00, monthly dues of $236.25, and $300.00 minimum food purchase each six months.
FULL ACTIVE: Shall be over twenty-one (21) years of age and shall be entitled to all privileges of the Club. Requires initiation fee of $10,000.00, monthly dues of $341.25, and minimum food purchases of $300.00 each six months.
BUSINESS: Any corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship, or any business entity may obtain one or more business memberships, which shall entitle the designated member to all privileges of the Club. Requires $10,000.00 initiation fee, $341.25 monthly dues, and minimum food purchases of $300.00 each six months. There is a $100 fee for changing membership names.
ASSOCIATE I: Shall be available to individuals between the ages of twenty-one (21) and twenty-four (24) years of age. Requires $2500.00 initiation fee, monthly dues of $210.00, and minimum food purchases of $300.00 each six months
ASSOCIATE II: Shall be available to individuals between the ages of twenty-five (25) and twenty-nine (29) years of age. Requires $3500.00 initiation fee, monthly dues of $236.25, and minimum food purchases of $300.00 each six months.
ASSOCIATE III: Shall be available to individuals between the ages of thirty (30) and thirty-five (35) years of age. Requires $4500.00 initiation fee, monthly dues of $262.50, and minimum food purchases of $300.00 each six months
