Pool Rules & Regulations

• Club Members must sign in at the Cabana upon entrance to the swimming facility.
  
  
• All persons using the pool or occupying the pool area will do so at their own risk. The pool should not be used unless two people are present in the pool area. No swimming alone shall be permitted.
  
  
• Use of the baby pool is limited to children 5 years of age and younger. A parent or guardian must accompany the children at all times while in the baby pool or pool area.
  
  
• Club Members are responsible for damage to equipment and common property, as well as any violation of the rules by themselves, Family or Guests.
  
  
• Be considerate; avoid unnecessary noise and improper conduct. Radios, tape players, etc. may not be played in the pool area unless headphones are used.
  
  
• The Club Member, before entry into the pool, must register all Guests and pay the appropriate guest fees.
  
  
• Proper swimming attire must be worn. No cutoffs, blue or colored jeans, tennis attire, or biker shorts will be allowed in the pool. No diapered children may enter the main pool at any time.
  
  
• Glass containers, food and drink will not be permitted in the pool area. Food and beverages purchased at the vending area or the Sand Trap must be consumed in designated areas only. No swimming attire is permitted in the Club House.
  
  
• Only individuals eighteen (18) years of age and older are permitted in the water during rest periods.
  
  
• Running in the pool area and on the pool decks will not be permitted at any time.
  
  
• Club Members, their Family Members and Guests must stay off the guard chairs and the fence.
  
  
• The Club is not responsible for un-authorized use of the pool after hours. Trespassers will be prosecuted.
  
  
• The lifeguard in charge or pool manager has full authority to maintain proper conduct at the pool to assure the greatest pleasure and enjoyment for all concerned, and to establish such other rules as may be necessary.
  
  
• All capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed to such terms in the Mount Vernon Country Club Rules & Regulations.
