The golf staff at the Mount Vernon Country Club is dedicated to making golf an enjoyable experience for your child or grandchild.

It is our goal that each child who participates in the junior golf program develops correct fundamentals, proper etiquette, and most importantly, has fun.  The juniors are the future members of the club, and making their introduction to the lifelong game of golf a positive experience, will benefit everyone.

All Junior golfers must follow the MVCC rules and regulations, with special attention to our dress code.  Golfers are to wear a collared golf or golf mock and it is to be neatly tucked in at all times.  Knee length shorts, skorts, skirts, or slacks are appropriate.  No denim, cut-off shorts, tank tops, or swim suits are permitted

Quality equipment is essential to the development of a young golfer.  We offer a variety of junior clubs at various price points, so please let the golf professional know if you are interested and we can assist with a proper fitting.  All equipment will be assessed by the golf professional and recommendations will be made.  Equipment will not be provided for the participants.

Our philosophy is to create a bond with each student, and an understanding of their goals in golf and out of golf.  We will attempt to positively influence and encourage our students to achieve higher confidence and integrity via the game of golf.   

Junior Golf begins Sunday, May 31st and goes from 4-6pm on Sunday's  thru July 19th.  The Fee is $65 Per Child. 

Any Parents who are available to assist the Junior Golf Program are welcome and greatly appreciated.
